Inverness itself buzzes with cosmopolitan life, with excellent restaurants, shops, and places of entertainment, and your stay in this vibrant and exciting town will be perfected by your accommodation in the luxurious surroundings of Heraghty Lodge. This supremely comfortable and high spec. apartment, on the ground floor at the front and the first floor at the back, has a wonderful position right on the banks of the river. You can breakfast on its balcony terrace (furniture) or sit with an evening drink, watching the fishermen and looking out on to the wooded parklands on the far bank. Inside, there is a sumptuous living area, a beautifully appointed kitchen, two bedrooms and bathrooms and a hexagonal 'tower room' which can be used as a reading room, river observatory or a most restful quiet room.
From the apartment it is possible to walk into the city almost without encountering a main road, or you can wander along the footbridges which connect the Ness islands in the river.
