No 9 Heraghty Lodge offers luxurious and spacious accommodation all on one level. All fittings, fixtures and floor coverings are of the highest standard and quality. The external building whilst being of modern construction is crafted in baronial style with turrets rising above the beautiful River Ness. Heraghty nestles on the very banks of this world class location, and commands a prestigious position within easy reach of Loch Ness on Dores Road and close to the centre of Inverness the capital city of the Highlands.

The property is accessed at ground floor level via a secure ramped entry. Once inside the main hall there is a separate entrance vestibule to the apartment. This leads to an internal hall with two double bedrooms/two bathrooms off. Also leading off the hall is the entrance to the large elegant lounge and formal dining area. From the lounge a separate entry leads into the hexagonal shaped turret room. This is a wonderful multi purpose observatory and is equipped with two leather ‘stress less’ chairs and footstools.

There are doors leading from both the lounge and the turret room to a large covered balcony which also overlooks the river where during the salmon season fishermen can be observed fishing. Wild life and birds abound and on occasions seals have been seen playing in the river. The owners have witnessed red deer below the apartment swimming from one shore to the other and another resident has identified Ospreys at the location. The balcony is equipped with outdoor table and chairs and when appropriate guests can relax with a glass of something and watch the show as it develops.

There is a beautifully appointed kitchen with stainless steel appliances and informal dining area with views out over the river. Built in appliances include microwave, electric oven, gas hob, dishwasher, fridge freezer and washer/dryer machine. All crockery, glassware, cutlery, utensils are supplied and there is ample cupboard storage. A large cupboard in the hall stores ironing equipment, laundry basket, vacuum, brooms etc.

One double bedroom is en suite with bath/shower, bidet etc. This room is equipped with a ‘super king’ bed which can be set up as two singles on request. The other double bedroom has an en suite shower room. By clever design this en suite can also be accessed for general use if desired. The bedroom is equipped with a ‘king’ bed.

Both beds are divans of the highest quality and comfort. All duvets, bedding, linen and towels are supplied

Water and Heating is gas fired with individual radiators fitted with thermostats to suit individual requirements. Plant is inspected and serviced by qualified engineers and a current certificate of compliance is available onsite for guest's perusal and peace of mind.

Smoking within the apartment is strictly prohibited but is permitted outside on the balcony. Likewise, because of the height of the balcony from the ground and the proximity of the river, the apartment is not considered suitable for young children.
